QualiT App
QualiT puts expert construction knowledge on site, when it matters, helping every worker get the job right first time.
The challenge
Large commercial construction projects lose 15–20% of their value to poor quality simple execution errors and preventable mistakes. That adds up to billions across the industry every year. At the same time, the experienced people who know how to avoid those mistakes are retiring, taking decades of hard-won knowledge with them.
The Building Safety Act now expects a golden thread of evidence showing how work was done. QualiT's founder, Duane McCreadie FCIOB, a construction leader with over £1 billion of complex delivery behind him, wanted to capture that expertise and put it in the hands of every worker on site at the moment they need it. Not locked in a filing cabinet. Not buried in a PDF. Available, practical, and trusted.
The solution
We took QualiT from idea to launched product in under a year, from first prototype in November 2025 to launch in June 2026. We ran discovery with Duane and his industry advisers, designed both products, built them, and supported the launch. For industry leaders, there's a platform to build and manage the checklists, standards and methods their sites should follow. Everything is peer-reviewed by experts and version-controlled, so everyone works from the current approved version. Nineteen work packages, covering site set-up through to commissioning, are ready to use on day one.
For the people actually on site, there's a mobile app that puts those checklists in their pocket. It works without signal and records every completed item, note and photo with a timestamp. That record becomes the golden-thread evidence the Building Safety Act asks for. And then there's Q, an AI assistant workers can ask about the job in front of them, in plain language or by voice. Q answers only from QualiT's own approved knowledge base, shows where every answer came from, and says when it doesn't know rather than guessing. That honesty is what makes it safe to rely on at the workface.
